Your Imperfect Perfection

We must embrace the perfection in being imperfect. Be perfect for you, no longer yielding to the expectations of anyone but yourself. How do you measure up to the person you would like to be? What are you doing to become that person? In life we envision what we want- it becomes the goal. Then we focus, plan, and prepare the path we will take to get there. You may struggle, but with every trial you gain knowledge. Even if you fail now, your next attempt will be better because you learned from your previous attempt. The more you try the more knowledge you gain, the more progress you make, and the more you grow. You are that much closer than you were when you began your journey, and your persistence will take you wherever you want to go, give you whatever you want to get, and be the person you hope to become.

No doctor ever decides today they want to become a doctor and becomes one tomorrow. It takes a goal, a plan, and time. The more time and focus you put on your craft, your goal, or your vision, the closer you will be to achieving it, and your progress will be evident.Whether you are working on yourself or on a project, your diligence is key to your success.Your discipline is necessary for your progress. Your focus is needed for its completion. These things are absolutely vital, and with every inch of progress there will be personal growth. Do the work, let nothing other than the positive outlook you see for yourself drive you. Always aim for perfection; at a minimum you will get a personal best.

We all can agree there is no such thing as perfection or being perfect. Should the knowledge of its unattainability let us off the hook? Absolutely not.We must remember while in the pursuit of perfection you are bettering yourself with every attempt. You are consistently marking your personal bests and creating a new opportunity to better yourself. As long as you are striving to be the best you you can be, you are pushing yourself closer to your own greatness. Make a habit of being consciously aware of your participation in your work, be actively contributing to your successes, and stay positively disciplined. The result will be, you becoming the best version of yourself, and nothing could be more perfect than that.
