Life: It's Even Better Than You Think
At some point in your life, you may face problems that seem larger than life itself. We can all relate to being stuck in a rut: an unrewarding job, an unforgiving figure, or an unfulfilling relationship. It can make you feel as if life has handed you a really bad hand, and having no immediate fix is exhausting and extremely overwhelming. While it may be easier to simply succumb to the pressure of your problem, it is better to take a step back and get some perspective. Every problem has one common thread -they have a purpose. It is up to you to determine what that purpose is, and how to handle it, but you can only tackle a problem once you have dissected it. Get to the root of the problem and focus on the solution instead of the problem itself.
Avoid the mistake of giving power to your problems and letting them take over your life. Sure, you must address them, but make sure when you do, you are addressing them in regards to their solution. Merely dwelling on their existence is a waste of time and energy that could be better used resolving the matter. While you work out the details for your plan of attack, embrace your blessings. Worry less about what needs fixing in your life, and pay attention to the things you got right. Those are the things you should be grateful for and give plenty of time and attention. Ignoring the great things you have is just like giving them away. Counting your blessings and reflecting on where you have been verses your present state will likely conclude that your life is much better than you think.
We put a lot of unnecessary pressure on ourselves to live up to a fantasy, but the reality is life comes with problems. Life is work, and we are all works in progress. If you accomplished everything at once, what would tomorrow bring? Change your perspective. I wouldn't say welcome trouble, but I won't run from it either. Every obstacle in life is actually an opportunity to challenge you, push you, test you, and if nothing else, to show you how brave, strong, smart, or resilient you truly are. Acknowledge all the things that are better in your life, and get in the business of living life better.
