Maintenance Check

Everyday you have to make a conscious decision to separate yourself from the negative Nancys, bitter Bettys, and Sour Susans. Remember that energy is contagious; create a comfortable distance between you and them. Re-evaluate your involvement with people who are draining energy from you, suffocating you with negativity, adding stress to your life, or bringing unnecessary drama to your table. Toxic relationships help you become stronger, wiser, and aware of how to process chaos and deal with the dramatic people in your life, but ultimately you need to determine how to limit, minimize, or eliminate them all together. They do more harm than good, hurt more than heal, and cause conflict more than compromise. Help others as best you can, but never forget about your own well-being, your happiness, your peace, and your mission: what you want out of this life, what you want to do, and the amount of time you have to get it done. Stay focused. Refused to be an involuntary participant in other other people's drama. Help them as best you can, however you can, but then get back to work. Get back to your own mission, stay focused and positive, and check the disruptive energy at the door. The most valuable relationship you will ever maintain is the one you have with your Self. ~For more positive posts stop by fb.me/TheAnswerKey tweet me  @_TheAnswerKey daily!
