Every challenge, obstacle, difficult situation or person you come in contact with is serving a purpose. All of our struggles show up for a reason. Every experience happens to serve you, not just to make your life more difficult and stop there. Nothing is just there to give you a hard time. If you look closely you will find that your life is constantly unfolding in different directions to lead you to the path that best serves you emotionally, intellectually, spiritually. You are constantly evolving intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually- how much is up to you. Only you can be sure that you are not only getting older but wiser. Only you can be sure that every time something fails, disappoints, or lets you down you can make something come of that experience that you can be grateful for now or in the future. They will always think what they want, and there is nothing you can do about it. Now, you be the judge. Judge for yourself. Look yourself in the mirror and answer to you. Everyone else's take is just their opinion. The ideas they have formed about who they think you are have nothing to do with you, who you are, or who you are becoming. Even for the people that matter, whose opinions you hope are positive and at the very least, pragmatic- they only know some of your depth.
