Let Your Vision Have Its Say

When you take an unconventional career path you can not play by the same rules as those that do. Their rules do not apply to you. Your expectation and analysis of how your career is going should not be the same either. While you can offer your perspective to help them understand, remember that it is not your job to convince them of anything. Your vision is your business. Unapologetically build your business and refrain from being compelled to explain, defend, or justify your process. It is not for you to understand, defend, or rescue them from the consequences of their own choices. Let them live the life they have chosen. Help those who seek it... avoid those that don't. It is perfectly okay to give yourself permission to tap out. Tap out of their mess, and  wish them the best.
